Don’t go “there”. Help is available.

In addition to Covid which cancelled most of the family gathering plans, Christmas 2021 also brought someone I know to seek the ultimate end.

If you feel alone, that the bumps ahead looks like mountains, where you don’t see the light at the end of the tunnel, that you feel buried down too deep, that there’s no other way out, please reach out. There is.

There’s a lot of help hotlines out there, people who care, who can help you find the answers. Talk to friends. Talk to families. Write to someone. Do something, but not “that”.

As one told me “Suicide is the permanent solution to temporary problems.”

It is not the right solution.

Seek help before it’s too late. People care about you.

    1. Thank you.
What I feel is the worst is that, from now on, his kids, pre-teenager and teenager, will now associate Christmas time with the suicide of their father.
